šŸ¤ Heart-Shaped Churros with Batey Turbinado Sugar

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in the warm golden sweetness of Batey Turbinado Sugar — these heart-shaped churros are made to share (or keep all to yourself šŸ˜‰).



✨ Ingredients


For the churros

1 cup water

3/4 tbsp butter

2 tbsp Batey Turbinado Sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Oil for frying



For coating

½ cup Batey pure cane Sugar

1–2 tsp cinnamon


šŸ„„ Instructions


Make the dough

In a saucepan, heat water, butter and Batey Turbinado Sugar until boiling.

Add flour and stir until a dough forms and pulls away from the pan.

Add egg & vanilla

Let cool slightly, then mix in egg and vanilla until smooth.

Pipe the hearts

Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.

Pipe heart shapes onto parchment paper.


Fry

Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry churros until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes per side).


Coat

Mix Batey pure cane Sugar and cinnamon.

Roll warm churros in the mixture.
