⭐ Ingredients
For the Cream Filling:
3 cups whole milk
2 egg yolks
2 eggs
1 cup Batey Turbinado Sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
1/4 cup unsalted butter cubbed
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
To Assemble:
1 pre-baked pie crust
Whipped cream for topping
Start by whisking together milk, Batey Turbinado Sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan, cook until thick, smooth, and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whish the egss and reserve.
slowly pur the hot mix on the eggs while whisking.
Put again on the saucepan on medium heat, add butter and vanilla for that perfect creamy finish… and just look at that texture
Now pour the custard into your baked pie crust… and let it chill until set.
Top it with fluffy whipped cream.
